The Challenge

San Ysidro Health needed to replace their existing disparate EHR systems and standardize to Epic. Along that journey, they uncovered the need to archive their legacy systems and build an interoperability framework that would set them up for future growth. That framework would integrate their EHR with various internal and external systems—labs, HIEs, third-party applications, and immunization registries—while addressing budget constraints and a tight deadline.
