In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, seamless connectivity between laboratories, electronic health records (EHRs), and care providers is no longer a luxury - it’s essential. At the heart of this transformation is ELLKAY’s Enterprise Data Management Platform, which redefines how labs operate, scale, and deliver results across the care continuum.
ELLKAY’s mission is clear: eliminate the long-standing pain barriers that have slowed laboratory connectivity. From clean data exchange to intuitive system interfacing, ELLKAY empowers labs with scalable, intelligent tools for modern demands. That mission is being realized through frictionless implementations and transformative partnerships.

Hunt Regional Healthcare exemplifies what’s possible when technology meets vision. Under the leadership of Bonnie-Jean Stewart, Director of Lab Solutions, the organization has expanded its outreach program to 14 sites across six counties, serving a diverse client base that includes nursing homes, ERs, micro-hospitals, and academic institutions.
Since its first EHR integration in 2013, Hunt Regional has adopted scalable digital solutions to accelerate growth. Today, ELLKAY supports multiple EHR interfaces, enabling collections and results delivery for 75 private practices, employers, home health providers, and hospices. Stewart credits this growth to the flexibility and reliability of ELLKAY’s platforms.
HealthTrackRX, a leading diagnostic laboratory, offers another compelling example of success. Adam McCoy, Director of IT Development and Integrations, praised ELLKAY’s Network for its ability to streamline data flow:

McCoy also shared that an upcoming bidirectional integration with PointClickCare is underway, allowing users to access applications directly within the EHR environment. “This is going to bring significant value across the board,” he said, underscoring the importance of interoperability in modern healthcare.
Erica Parks, Outreach Laboratory Manager at Hunt Regional, credits ELLKAY’s Network with modernizing outpatient collections. Its focus on scalable, data-driven solutions has led to overwhelmingly positive feedback from clinicians. “It’s user-friendly - clinicians type in a few letters of a test and get all the options they need.”
While occasional challenges arise with adding uncommon tests, Parks emphasized ELLKAY’s responsiveness and commitment to continuous improvement.
Adaptability is a recurring theme in Hunt Regional’s success. Stewart noted that ELLKAY helped the lab expand into new markets and build partnerships with employers and non-traditional clients – including a particularly notable achievement with the onboarding of an aerospace defense contractor, a testament to the platform’s efficiency, reliability, and seamless integration. This success underscores how ELLKAY’s capabilities continue to attract high-value clients across diverse industries.
Looking ahead, Hunt Regional is preparing for two major initiatives:
For labs, success is measured not just by technology, but by outcomes. McCoy cited transfer speeds as low as four seconds, enabling near-instantaneous data exchange and cleaner results. Stewart emphasized that patient satisfaction and market reach are equally critical: “We serve over 50 private practices, 75 ELLKAY client connections, and thousands of patients across our region. The platform helps us scale effortlessly while maintaining performance.”

At the core of these achievements is a shared commitment to collaboration. ELLKAY’s partnerships with Hunt Regional Healthcare and HealthTrackRX demonstrate how strategic alliances can drive innovation, reduce inefficiencies, and expand access to care.
As healthcare embraces digital transformation, the importance of trusted connectivity partners cannot be overstated. With advancements like bidirectional EHR integration and scalable outreach models, ELLKAY continues to lead the next wave of healthcare innovation - one connection at a time.
