LKSmartSearch™ is a companion product for LKPrint or LKBridge.
To acquire and retain new clinics, laboratories are faced with the challenge of providing physicians with the means to place accurate orders faster and save time. Usually they provide a patient demographic Bridge which allows physician office staff to easily capture patient demographic and insurance information simply by entering a patient chart number or identifier and clicking a button.
LKBridge provides an excellent means of accessing patient data from Practice Management Systems. However, many clinics use different patient ‘identifiers’ day-to-day. In an ideal world, clinics should be able to search for patients by a wide variety of options; not limited to Chart Number or Patient Identifier. Meaning, staff may need to search patients by Last Name, First Name, partial names, or other patient data.
LKSmartSearch™ is a revolutionary patent-pending technology. Engineered by ELLKAY, LKSmartSearch™ utilizes “Interactive Lookups” which allow users to start typing a patient’s name and LKSmartSearch™ displays the closest matches as you type.
For example: Say you type “SM”, it would automatically display patients whose last name may be Smith or Smitherson. Likewise, if you type “100”, it would display patients whose chart numbers begins with 100 as well as patients whose SSN begins with 100.
